Maybe the Tour2 will come out for Verizon first, then Sprint...

Good news for Verizon Wireless BlackBerry customers that passed on the Storm 2 and the Curve 8530 in order to wait for the Tour2. The much-awaited BlackBerry 9650 was spotted by a Verizon Wireless employee while browsing through Cellebrite, a system used for transferring contacts from one phone to another. There is no confirmed time frame from when a phone appears in Cellebrtie to when it is launched but, in general, a phone’s appearance in Cellebrite is a good indication that a launch is somewhat imminent, though this isn’t a science and is not foolproof.

So the real question is: who of us are going to upgrade?

Hey Tim, welcome back!... I was worried that most of the staff here has been inactive... are you back from the sabbatical? ;-)

now to the question on hand, I doubt that I will upgrade to the Tour2 if is released soon. My upgrade eligibility is until July (to get the full discount)

By then, I will see what options are available from a OS perspective... right now I'm leaning towards Android.

The Tour has helped me explore and learn so much about BlackBerry OS. So I'll see what I'll do as we get closer to July...

Hi there, yeah it's good to be back. I'm gonna send you a PM with some contact info if you need it (don't I have you on BBM?) but for now let me simply say that I've had some other priorities but am back now. The Tour is my fav BB ever though I have used bb's since the 8830.

That being said I will be upgrading ASAP. As much as I love the Tour a more powerful processor and trackpad, as well as probably having more memory is hard to resist :-)
