I lost the standby key function when i upgraded to 5.0 on Sprint does anyone know if this is a change in the OS and/or how to get it back without reverting back to the older OS?  Thanks

We wont get it back. OS 5.0 doesnt use the mute button as Standby. You can now lock your phone only with the lock button. The mute button on the top only works with Phone, Media, and possibly any other app that has a mute option.
