Thanks to Kevin from CrackBerry.com you can now take a peek at the Tour2

It is basically the same phone but with WiFi and a trackpad instead of trackball...

Its weird how badly I want the Essex, even though its not all that different from the Tour. WiFi is just a plus, but not something I need. Mostly the trackpad is the selling point for me. And ofc it will be the most updated OS. Hopefully when it comes out we get surprised with a few extras. Maybe a 5mp camera or something. I dunno, their arent many things I can think to improve on the Tour that the Essex is already supposed to do.

I don't mind the 3.2MP camera. I just wished the autofocus area was a lot smaller and precise

Yeah I second that. The fact they included autofocus with a two-touch button is awesome, but they probably could have implemented it better. But RIM is still new to trying to be more oriented to average consumers like the iPhone and such. So considering that, its a pretty decent camera.

Thats why I think RIM decided to change the name Tour 9650 to Bold 9650. Just to make everyone with a Tour 9630 upgrade from a Tour to a Bold (they think they were slick and that the consumers are dumb!)
