I personaly would much rather have the iphone. It can do so much more than a blackberry. (Imo).   It has a trillion more apps than a blackberry. You need to decide what you want most out of a phone.

Do you need a toy (iphone) or a phone/tool (BB)?  I think it is an easy decision to make once you figure out what you need the device for.

monokos, welcome to our site...

you are comparing 2 totally different devices... BlackBerry has its benefits and iPhone has theirs...

Ultimately, you have to be happy with it.

The iPhone is more of an entertaining device and the Tour is more of a business phone.

Just as the forum member Tour said before me, you need to see what you are going to use the phone for. Once you have that figured out, your choice will be easier to make.

I have use the iPhone and must agree, its a great phone. But I can tell you that I am happier with the Tour, but thats just me...

I don't know what company you have now, but it will be best to try them both and judge for yourself.

If you are looking for a cool fun toy to impress your friends with then get yourself an iPhone, bit be prepared to live with the limitations of the platform.

If, on the other hand, you want to actually get things done efficiently (read: multitask) then get a BB. The iPhone advertises multitasking but the only true multitasking aspect of it is the music player. Any other app it juist closes and reopens as needed and the preloaded apps and some of the others will remember where you were in the app on the previous session but an awefull lot of them wont.

And yes there are many many apps for the iPhone but there are just as many if not more for the BB, they just are not all located together in the same place. AppWorld is NOT the only place to get them.

^^  but you are very limited to the amount of apps you can have at a time. sure, you can archive it to a memory card but you have to delete/archive an app just to unarchive an app you have saved to the memory card. just a big hassle.

but like stated above, you need to decide what type of phone works best for you.
