I'm planning on getting the Tour...but sprint wants me to put a deposit on the Tour for $250 and the phone is priced at 300.00 with 100 mail in rebate...so im probably looking at $550-600....how much did u pay for yours?   ?

Welcome! I went to Best Buy... the best thing about them is that you dont have to do the MIR. so I paid 200 and walked out with a Tour!

No deposit? nope... but that depends on your credit... it is not up to best buy to ask for a deposit, that is the carrier requiring it... but, you never know, give Best Buy a try. you can always say "security deposit?  no way! I'm getting a Metro POS!  " LOL

got mine for 130 after a 70 dollar mail in rebate and 50 dollar "vip" credit (AKA sign two more years with us) through Verizon

Bestbuy mobile doesn't do the mail in rebate they just give you the discount there. it was $150 at my bestbuy mobile store

well don't know if any one care but i got my tour for FREE from a guy that works for RIM that i randomly meet at a bar and that a week before Bell Canada start selling them..  they acted kind off pissed when i proud step in the store to get me new tour set up to my phone number lol.... So when next time bell gets a new Blackberry i got credit to get it!

For me it was going to be $300 but b/c I was still in a contract Alltel gave me a credit so I ended up paying $128.60 for it...such a BLESSING!!!

Just got mine yesterday from Radio Shack for $149 straight up with no rebate stuff. And if you go in there with a better advertised deal they say they will beat it.
