Yes that will change. Right now the forum is only less than a week old.

We are hoping that it will be released in May or June for VZW but a recent device roadmap for Sprint just leaked today and does not show Niagara till Q3 (third quarter meaning late summer earlu fall) of this year. I sure hope VZW gets it before then.

take that back.... only if this community grows.. then ill share.

It will grow, trust me. This is a very highly anticipated phone in the CDMA world. The answer to the GSM Curve 8900 and Bold 9000 in one phone. Crackberry already has device specific forums for it and we don't even have a release date yet. They didn't to that for the Storm till just before the original launch date. This device is gonna be HUGE for both VZW and Sprint.

You and me both. And no there probably wont be a line at the stores. This phone will be popular among the BB fanatics and gadget fiends but not necessarily the genral public like the Storm was. I'll be suprised if anyone who wants one wont be able to walk into a store and buy it release week like I did the Curve last year.

The 8900 curve?

The biggest thing is the Bold keyboard and EVDO-A (the CDMA 3G). The 8900 has the regular Curve keyboard and EDGE only data service. OS and stuff we expect to be more or less the same.

The alias is a pretty cool phone.  But once you get use to the features of a blackberry, its hard to go back.

Anyway, back on the subject of wallpapers, I'd be willing to make a few as well... even if I don't end up getting the phone.

and is there anyway that on the niagara, there might be a feature were multiple wallpapers can alternate.

or just.. one at a time like most phones.

There are third party applications that allow for a slideshow of wallpapers
