wow im new to this whole site in general....there is no need to double post questions i understand that, but its no need to get nasty with a beginner on this site

What are you talking about???  He wasn't nasty towards you at all.  He had already asked you not to post the same questions in multiple places AND was still very courteous towards you when he had to tell you about it again.

Anyone who hangs around this site, knows for a fact, Ryu is not want to get nasty with anyone, and he is one of if not the most helpful person on this site imho.

Hock, [using Elvis Presley's voice] Thank you, thank you very much...

And to Skill, I dont understand where I was nasty when I answered your question in the other thread you asked the same thing and all i did was a friendly reminder to not double post the same questions...

I am actually a very sarcastic person, which annoys a lot of people... but here I try not to be, especially because I know we have a lot of new people to BlackBerry (including myself)
But if you feel I was nasty... nothing I can do about that... I still answered your question so a cookie would be nice!  Tongue

Quick Pull is one of my favorite apps for Blackberry.  I had it for my Storm and I have scheduled it to reset my Tour every night at midnight.  It runs like clockwork!

After I upgraded to the most recent version of batteryPull (free edition) it now has ads after the reset is done... I really dont like this because Instead of displaying the clock as it used to... now it has a message with an ad that you must acknowledge...

As of now, I have uninstalled this app and im manually doing the battery pulls when Im going to bed at night...

I've been debating whether or not to do the same thing Ryu.  It's not an issue if I don't wake up to look at the clock before an alarm goes off because that seems to clear the quickpull message for me automatically.  But if I happen to wake up in the middle of the night and want to see the time, I have to click to acknowledge the reset and then deal with the bright screen in my face before I manage to drop the phone back down into its cradle. Not a pleasant experience for light-sensitive eyes at 2am.
