Maybe its just me. But does it seem to anyone, that charging your Tour through the computer with USB, seems to take much longer then using the wall charger? It may be my imagination, but it seems like it takes 30% longer to charge with the USB. Or am I crazy?

I havent really paid attention but it would make sense. The usb port in the computer doent generate the same power as a wall electrical outlet...

maybe someone with electric experience can confirm this for you.

Hmm, well I really enjpoy helping people on this site despite the fact that I am indeed a BB virgin, or was. So perhaps I will run some tests. This upcoming weekend maybe. Ill let my phone die, then charge it to 100% and see how long it takes on the wall, then do the same with the USB charger. Then ill let it get down to lets say, 50%, and try it both ways again. Because there are times I know Im leaving my house in an hour or so, and I want to get my berry to 100% before I leave. If Im on my laptop Id generally use the USB charger, but if it is indeed slower and ill get more of a charge off the wall unit, that would be useful information for me, or anyone Im sure.

Charging through your usb cable from your computer is always slower because the power source is weaker and the energy is being pulled from the battery as it powers the usb ports instead of direct from your wall's AC outlet.
