Just want to say Ive been using it for about a month now. And it is truly, amazing. Ive done some very specific testing with little, to almost no variables, and I can tell you, it literally adds almost exactly 90% battery life. I posted my testing a while back on CB forums, Ill probably post it here later. So anyone still hating their battery life with the Tour, look into the Seidio 2600. Luckily I dont care for using skins, or cases, so the larger back doesnt bother me. But I must say, that added weight and size with the 2600 battery, is VERY nice. Feels very good in the hand. The only case I ever use it the pleather one that comes with the Tour. And with the larger size, my Tour still fits in the case. Snug at first, but after a few days to a week, it fits perfectly.

And its nice having a back up with the OEM battery. After having it laying in a drawer for 3 weeks, I decided to see how well it held its charge. 3 weeks of no use, put it in my berry, and it was still at 100%.

Ok, Ill start by saying Seidio is completely accurate in saying the 2600mAh battery lasts up to 90% longer then the stock, OEM battery. 4 day testing....

Days 1 and 2:

Started the stock 1400 mAh battery at 100%. I ran IHeartRadio on RealRadio 104.1 out of Orlando, at full volume, on a specific talk radio show that lasts 5 hours. No other apps running, no use of browser, no texting, nothing. Just running IHeartRadio. Phone died at approximately 4 hours, almost on the nose. On day 2, did the same thing, battery made it to about 4 hours and 10 minutes, then shut off. This is a 25% per our rate of depletion for the OEM battery, with this testing.

Days 3 and 4:

Started the Seidio 2600 mAh battery at 100%. Ran IHeartRadio on the exact same station, max volume, with no other apps running, and receiving no texts. (This show is on from 6 am to 11 am, no one really texts me at these times). The phone was able to make it through the full 5 hour talk radio show. Day one I was left with 65% battery life, day two 60%. Well just call it 60% average to make the math easy on me. Running for the 5 hour show, losing 40%, means a depletion of 12% battery life per hour.

Result:

During my testing, the OEM 1400 mAh battery lost 25% battery life per hour
During my testing, the Seidio 2600 mAh battery lost 12% battery life per hour.

This proves, under these conditions anyway, that the Seidio battery, which is 90% larger, claims to add 90% more life, does indeed have about double the life. The added size and weight due to the door and battery, feels absolutely fantastic in hand, and actually makes typing and browsing, considerably more comfortable in my opinion.

I give the Seidio 2600 mAh battery, 5 out of 5 Berries.

I'd love to see some pictures of the Tour with the increased size added by the extended battery.  I have a second regular battery that I got at the same time as the phone that I have been using as an emergency swap out when I have days where I run the iheartradio app longer than normal. If it isn't too much added bulk, I'd be willing to switch to the Seidio for regular use and just keep the two normal batteries as back-ups.

The buyer reviews I read on Amazon before making the purchase were pretty clear that they were still able to use the charging dock with this battery/cover combo.

I think you'll be very happy with it. It feels really comfortable in the hand. I like the way the normal backing looks more, makes the whole device more sleek. But this slightly larger back that comes with the 2600, feels much better while typing/browsing and what not.

Have any of you guys seen the Mugen 3300 mAh? lol, that thing looks insane. Like a car battery glued to a Tour.

I just want a battery that will be able to handle a day of heavy use without me having to switch to my backup battery.  I'm not as picky as some people that expect a handheld device to be able to remain in constant use all day but not need a recharge for several days or more.  I just need to be able to go from morning to night without the battery level dropping too low to use the radio. I used an extended battery on my last phone and I actually thought it felt more stable in my hands when it was on thanks to the added thickness. So a little extra bulk isn't something that will ruin my day as long as it gains me the benefit of long-lasting battery life.

I actually decided to buy myself one of those docks too to cut back on the wear and tear from plugging in the cable so much.

I got my extended battery today. Unfortunately, the phone WILL NOT charge in the dock while the new cover is on. I was able to remove the cover and set the phone in the dock to let it charge and maintain the "bedside clock" effect. I am going to play with some things to see if I can make any alterations that will allow the phone to charge WITH the new cover still on.

*Edit*

So I played with the cover some and was able to get the phone to charge properly with it on. I'm a happy camper now.

Ive heard most people say the dock works with the 2600 batt, but some people had to bend out the metal things on the dock (I think) in order to get it to work. Is that what you did?

No. Actually, I just pressed down on the bottom portion of the cover to give it that micrometer of extra space for the contacts to reach each other, I think. No real bending or alterations other than some added force to keep the cover as close to the phone as possible.
